Our curriculum
Two pathways, one high standard
Bright Future International School offers families a choice of two well-established curricula: the British curriculum, delivered through Pearson Edexcel, UK, and the Pakistani curriculum of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad.
Both pathways are taught in English by experienced teachers, and both lead to qualifications recognised by universities in Qatar, Pakistan, the United Kingdom and around the world. Arabic, Islamic Studies and Qatar History are taught in line with Ministry of Education and Higher Education requirements.

British curriculum (Pearson Edexcel)
A broad, skills-based curriculum leading to Pearson Edexcel International GCSE, followed by AS and A Level. BFIS is a recognised Pearson Edexcel exam and study centre, and IGCSE study begins from Grade 8.
Pakistani curriculum (FBISE)
For Pakistani students, the FBISE curriculum leads to the Secondary School Certificate (SSC, Matric) and the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC, F.Sc), with streams that prepare students for higher education.
