About Us

Safeguarding

Keeping every child safe and well is our highest priority.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Every adult in our school community has a part to play in protecting children and promoting their wellbeing.

We aim to provide a safe, caring environment where children feel secure, are listened to and know that they can talk to a trusted adult about any worry. Our safeguarding procedures follow the laws of the State of Qatar and the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Safer recruitment

All staff are appointed through careful recruitment, including identity, qualification and reference checks, and the background checks required in Qatar.

Training

Staff receive safeguarding training so that they recognise the signs of concern and know exactly how to respond and report.

Wellbeing

Pastoral care, counselling and online-safety education help children stay safe, build resilience and ask for help when they need it.

Raising a concern

If you are worried about the safety or wellbeing of a child, please speak to our safeguarding team as soon as possible.

  1. Contact the school office in person, by phone or by email and ask to speak to the safeguarding lead.
  2. Share what you have seen or heard, as clearly as you can.
  3. The concern will be handled sensitively, confidentially and in line with our policy.
